Hi! My name is Gage Hopper, and I'm an aspiring software engineer. I strive to write the cleanest, most efficient code at all times. I am primarily targeting Grails apps in my portfolio due to their portability over normal Ruby/Rails apps. In my free time, I play Pokemon and Zelda, and while other programmers use rubber duck debugging, I have a cat named Big Vicious who likes to sit next to me and watch while I work.

Skills

• Write CRUD software from the ground up using most frameworks, if one goes out of fashion just replace it with another
• Develop sustainable MVC apps with perfect separation of presentation, business, and model.
• Some systems software experience, Rust and C when not developing for the Web!
• Linux Nerd! On top of package management and system administration, can also hold own in Docker.
